Sweet wishes

Hi Friends!  Today I'm sharing this slimline card created for the Lawn Fawnatics challenge 83 - make the sentiment the star.

To start, I create my own die using a piece an acetate and the stitched cloud stackables die (medium size cloud used).  Next, using the small slimline die, I cut a piece of white cardstock.  Using the stencil I created, I ink blended a soft cloud background.  Then, I cut the background using the stitched cloud backdrop portrait die.  Next, I used the largest die from the large slimline dies to cut a background from Bristol smooth cardstock.  Then I ink blended the panel using the following distress inks (bottom to top): salty ocean, memaid lagoon, cracked pistachio and twisted citron.  I'm really loving the distress inks lately!  The vibrancy is fantastic!

The images from unicorn picnic, a little sparkle and rain or shine (clouds) stamped using black ink.  I colored the images using the following copic markers:

Clouds: B000, B0000

Unicorn: B04, BG01, B0000, BG13, G00, G0000, V06, V01, V0000, N0, 0

Chocolate: E18, E34, E51

I used the scripty, sweet and wishes die to cut the sentiment which were ink blended using the corresponding inks (same as used for the background panel expect I added seedless preserves).  Next, I mounted the images using liquid glue and cut off the excess on the edges.  The front panel was foam mounted to the ink blended background panel.  Blue and teal glitter stars (bought at Michael's craft store) added for sparkle!

Thanks for stopping by today!  Hope this card gives you some inspiration to try creating your own stencils!  Have an amazing day!
