Hi again! Sharing this card as my second entry for the Lawn Fawnatics challenge 78: create a scene.
To start, I ink blended an A2 panel of Bristol cardstock using the following distress oxide inks (top to bottom): seedless preserves, shaded lilac and tumbled glass. The panel was splattered with water and set aside to dry.
The images from the a little sparkle stamp set were stamped onto Bristol smooth cardstock using VersaFine clair ink in nocturne. Images were then colored using Zig clean color real brush pens in the following colors: 028, 026, 202, 081, 803, 036, 049 and 091. White gel pen used for accents.
After the panel was dry, I cut the "sparkle" word using Finley's ABCs. The sentiment was finished using Happy Happy Happy stamp set. An acetate sheet was glued to the back of the panel. Then I added foam tape and shaker elements (Martha Stewart glitter) to create a shaker.
Large stitched rectangle die and puffy cloud border die used to add the extra elements. Studio Katia stars and star confetti added to finish the card.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I really love this color palette and the zig clean color brush pens blend so wonderfully on Bristol paper. Give it a try!
