Have a Happy Birthday!

Hi Friends!  Here is my entry for the Lawn Fawnatics challenge 78: create a scene.  If you follow my instagram, you probably know I LOVE creating scene cards.  In fact, most of my cards are scene cards. To create this slim card design, I used the new slimline dies from Lawn Fawn.  My interactive element is the Ferris wheel that rotates!

To create this scene I used the following stamps and dies by Lawn Fawn:

The images were colored using copic markers.  The rainbow colors I used for wheel are:  BV00, BG32, YG01, Y02, Y17 and R32.

For the background I used the cloudy stencil and hillside stencils

To create a rotating Ferris wheel, I cut the large reveal wheel circle piece from acetate and sandwiched it between two smaller circles using a brad.  See image below for how to create the sandwich.  The front of the wheel will have 2 anchor points which will be adhered using double stacked foam tape to give extra height.  This sandwich allows the acetate wheel to rotate freely.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Hope you enjoyed this interactive card.  Can't wait to share more with you soon!
